REAL ASSET prepares to expand into a new business sector by focusing on Esports through the organization of “RA League 2019.” The company joined forces with industry companies and partners to compete on August 9, 2019, at Thai Summit Tower on Phetchaburi Road. The event aimed to provide office workers with a platform to showcase their skills and potentially advance into the esports industry.
Thai Summit Tower: Mr. Bodintorn Juangroongruangkit, Chief Executive Officer of REAL ASSET Development Co., Ltd., stated that on Friday, August 9, REAL ASSET organized an ROV competition under the event name “RA League 2019” at Thai Summit Tower on Phetchaburi Road. The event was held to demonstrate the company’s vision of exploring new business opportunities in the Millennial era, beginning with the study of the esports industry, which may lead to the development of new forms of real estate projects to serve this rapidly growing market in the future.
The event also served as a starting point for strengthening relationships among companies and partners in the industry, while encouraging office employees to showcase their gaming skills and potentially gain opportunities to enter the esports industry in the future. The event received support from sponsors including Gaming Dose, a major gaming news website and community for gaming enthusiasts, and Kochii, a startup from DTAC Accelerate that provides online coaching services and a community for gaming and esports skill development.
REAL ASSET would like to thank all participating companies and partners that submitted teams to compete. A total of eight teams were selected, including Ananda Development, INET (Internet Thailand), ICON Framework, Animated Storyboards Thailand, Gaming Dose, and others. The online competition was held from August 2–8 outside working hours, with the final two teams advancing to the offline championship round. The finalists were Emotional Moho from INET and Volts from Animated Storyboards. The championship match took place at Thai Summit Tower, Lobby Floor 1, on August 9 at 12:00 PM.
The event received an overwhelmingly positive response, attracting many attendees on-site as well as viewers through Facebook Live. The tournament concluded with INET winning the competition.
